GLOOLABS LICENSES NEW GLOO TECHNOLOGY
TO MACSENSE CONNECTIVITY

HomePod Delivers First Implementation of New Technology

San Francisco CA, January 7, 2003 -- GLOOLABS, a company that develops and licenses open platform, digital convergence technologies, announced today at MacWorld Expo that it has licensed its new GLOO technology to Macsense, which incorporates a GLOO-developed application into its new HomePod device. Via a wireless network, HomePod beams MP3 files stored on Macintosh computers and PCs to devices located throughout the home or office, within a 300-foot radius.

"Macsense offers the first consumer product based on GLOO technology," said Dan Lovy, president of GLOOLABS. "Music aficionados spend long hours cataloging and arranging their MP3 files. Until now, they could never take them beyond the computer desktop. HomePod delivers music throughout the home or office."

Under the terms of the licensing agreement, GLOOLABS licenses its hardware and software designs to Macsense. Macsense then manufactures and sells the product through its channels.

"GLOO is a powerful new technology that gives us a competitive edge in the consumer electronics market place," said Howard Cheng, CEO of Macsense. "We envision a broad range of products that can be developed using GLOO as the enabling technology and development platform."
