Senior Software Engineer - Streaming Media Server
GlooLabs is seeking a senior software engineer for development of an on-demand, media streaming service. Individuals must have Java expertise and familiarity with Java networking and implementation of network protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, RTSP, RTP).
Requirements:
- 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in J2SE development
- Expertise in networking/protocol design and implementation
- Expertise in Java web application frameworks and tools ( e.g. J2EE, Jetty, Velocity)
- Expertise in implementing scalable enterprise class services
- Experience in security (encryption, HTTPS)
- Experience in Java client/GUI development
- Familiarity with J2ME
- Familiarity with media DRM schemes
- Familiarity with streaming protocols (RTSP, RTP)

Senior Software Engineer – Media Client Development
GlooLabs is seeking a senior software contractor for continued development of a Java based client for a media streaming service. Individuals must have expertise in GUI development, networking and media handling.
Requirements:
- 5+ years industry experience
- Strong object oriented design skills
- Expertise in Java (J2SE)
- Expertise in Swing and AWT
- Expertise in multi-threaded application development
- Expertise in networking/protocol design and implementation
- Experience in manipulating media (image, music, video) using Java (JavaSound, JMF)
- Experience in Java client/GUI development.
